hi. this is "olde one", also known as "suhrim" to some of you who knew me from the earlier days of my online rant fest.

i created this site.

as of 3:21 pm, september 20, 2009, i am announcing the permanent death of this project, unless one of the members of Four can convince me, otherwise.

i noticed, upon examination, that one of my pages was censored. now, this is not an automatic censoring for those who have not logged in.. nor what appears on the page. this censorship went allll the way down into the page edit mode.

they censored "****" and "****" in a poem'esque line i wrote in the beginning of my book.

NO CENSORSHIP WAS SUPPOSEDLY THE NAME OF THE GAME, AND NOW THEY'VE CHANGED IT.

ALL MEMBERS ARE TO SAVE THEIR WORK. I WILL BE SAVING A COURTESY COPY, AS WELL, FOR WHEN I FIND A NEW PLACE. I WILL BE DELETING THE ENTIRETY OF THE SITE AS SOON AS I'VE BACKED UP THE INFORMATION.

I HAVE FINISHED BACKING UP THE ENTIRE SITE ON MY COMPUTER, IN VARIOUS FORMATS. I CAN BE REACHED THROUGH YAHOO (JUST DO A SEARCH ON "OLDE ONE") OR AT http://www.myspace.com/suhrim6666

Other Information.

The purpose of design within this site centers around function, rather than form. Wetpaint offers a free service, so we do not complain about the layout options. The reason Wetpaint was chosen is for its ability to organize large amounts of information in an easily accessible format.

Four will never ask you for donations. This is a free site. We don't want your personal information, either. To be honest, we don't care who you really are.

Four shifts.
It is alive.

By the whim of the authors it changes, to no particular schedule, under three potent guidelines....
Say what you want.
Try your best.
Don't screw with the work of others.

Of course, Wetpaint is not sufficient for a large-scale project, for there is no way to keep people out of the pages of one another, though I can prevent random non-members from messing about. For the time being, Four remains a small project, relying on the honour of its members.

Questionable Content Flags.

"There are sometimes false alarms on the Questionable Content. For example, if someone posted a thread mentioning how they work for Dick Jones, then that thread will be flagged as questionable. The site will generally raise the alarm if it comes across the usual swear words and things of that nature. Also, keep in mind that what is considered "questionable" can be somewhat subjective. It's ultimately up to the sites creator and moderators to decide what is allowable."
